A HOLIDAY BLOG

My holiday
I'm on holiday in London. We're here from Sunday to Saturday. We've been here for three days and we've already done a lot of different things. We've been on a big, red London bus. You catch the bus and you can get on and get off as many times as you want! We've also ridden on the London Eye. On Monday in the morning, we went to see Big Ben. Then, at three o'clock, we met a guide and she took us to see the Globe Theatre. That's Shakespeare's theatre! On Tuesday, I decided to go shopping. So I took a bus to Oxford Street and I went into the famous department store, Harrods. Today, I'm going to see Madame Tussauds museum. I'm having a great time.

LAKE COMO


Lake Como in Italy is a popular tourist destination. It is one of the biggest lakes in Italy and it's one of the deepest lakes in Europe. The area around Lake Como has got beautiful, steep mountains and green forests. People can enjoy different water sports on the lake. In the town next to the lake, there are lovely restaurants and discos. In the past, rich people built beautiful villas near the lake so they could enjoy the area. Today, many people still come here because it's a great place for a holiday.

My favourite sport

Do you love basketball? It's my favourite sport. It's one of the most popular sports in the United States. Even President Obama enjoys it! It's also very popular in Europe, Asia and Africa. You can play it inside or outside, but you must have a ball, two baskets and a court for this sport. Players wear shorts, shirts and trainers. There are two teams and each team has got five players. Players bounce and throw the ball and try to get it into the basket in order to get points. The team with the most points at the end of the game is the winner.
